Venues Group

The Venues Group comes together to:

  • Support venues to confidently programme dance
  • Develop the size, regularity and risk confidence of audiences
  • Improve the circulation of artists in the region and the effectiveness of scratch nights
  • Anchor the profession of dance marketing and communications in the NW
  • Work to support artist development.

This includes dance agencies, the two regularly funded dance companies in the North West, dance venues, the ten universities who teach dance, the Centre for Advanced Training in Dance and over 100 independent dance artists.
